. Important Information for Colombia
Visa-Free Entry (The Exemption): Indian citizens do not need a Colombian visa if they hold a valid/used visa or residence permit from the USA (except C1 transit) or any Schengen Area country with at least 180 days validity remaining at the time of entry.
Check-Mig Form: Regardless of your visa status, you must complete the Check-Mig form online between 1 and 72 hours before your flight. This is your digital entry permit.
Yellow Fever Vaccine: Highly recommended (and sometimes mandatory) if you are visiting the Amazon region or the Caribbean coast. You must get this at least 10 days before arrival.

Does the US/Schengen exemption apply to Transit (C1) visas?
No. The exemption only applies to standard Tourist or Business (B1/B2) visas. Airport Transit Visas do not qualify you for visa-free entry.
Is the e-Visa a multiple-entry visa?
Generally, the V-Tourism visa is issued for multiple entries, but the final decision on validity and entry type rests solely with the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Is a physical stamp required in the passport?
No. Since 2022, Colombia has moved to an e-Visa (electronic PDF). You should print this out and carry it with you, but no sticker is placed in your passport.
