Important Information for Vietnam
90-Day e-Visa: Unlike the previous 30-day limit, Indians can now apply for a 90-day e-Visa. You must choose between Single Entry (USD 25) or Multiple Entry (USD 50) at the time of application.
Port of Entry: You must enter via the exact port (airport, land border, or seaport) that you mentioned in your e-Visa application. If your flight is diverted or you change your entry point, you may be denied entry.
No Extension: e-Visas are currently non-extendable within Vietnam. If you wish to stay longer, you must perform a “Visa Run” (exit the country and re-enter with a new e-Visa).
The “Tet” Factor: If traveling in late January or February, be aware of Tet (Lunar New Year). Most government offices, including the Immigration Department, close for a week, causing massive visa processing delays.

What is the official processing time for the Vietnam e-Visa?
The official timeframe is 3 to 5 working days. However, during peak seasons (November to March), the Visa Lounge recommends applying at least 2 weeks in advance to account for potential system backlogs.
Can I get a Visa on Arrival (VoA) in 2026?

The most common reasons are blurry passport scans and wearing glasses in photos. Ensure your digital uploads are crystal clear and meet the specified dimensions.
