• Accommodation Proof: * Tourists: Confirmed hotel bookings for the entire stay.

  • Visiting Friends/Family: An electronic Mediation Letter submitted by your host through MIGRIS. You will need the mediation application number for your form.

• Travel Insurance: Mandatory coverage of at least €30,000. It must be valid for the entire Schengen territory and include a clause for medical repatriation.

3. Financial & Professional Standing

Lithuania requires proof of “Sufficient Means,” currently around €40–€50 per day:

• Proof of Funds:

  • Personal bank statements for the last 3 months, original copy with bank stamp and signature.

  • Recency: Statements must be dated within the last 7 days of your submission.

• ITR: Income Tax Return acknowledgment for the last 2 to 3 assessment years.

• Occupational Proof:

  • Employed: Last 3 months’ salary slips, and an Employment Letter (on company letterhead) stating position, salary, and approval of leave.

  • Self-Employed: GST Registration certificate, last 3 months of company bank statements, and a cover letter on Business Letterhead.

  • Students: NOC from the School/University and a copy of the Student ID card.

4. Cover Letter & Biometrics

• Cover Letter: A formal letter signed by you, detailing your travel plan, purpose of visit, and intent to return to India.

• Biometrics: Required for all first-time Schengen applicants (post-November 2015).
